Why I'm choosing mastery over speed
I spent years in infrastructure learning that shortcuts usually cost more later. Launch School rewards the same instinct: rigorous assessments, mastery over memorization, and a curriculum that expects you to understand ideas instead of simply recognizing the answers. The goal isn't just learning a language—it's learning how to think like an engineer.

Core Curriculum
One track, in order — the backend built in Ruby first, then the frontend in JavaScript. You can't move on to the frontend until the backend is complete, and each course is gated by an assessment.

An opportunity to work alongside a small engineering team on a production-quality project, applying software engineering principles, system design, and everything learned throughout Core. It's where my background in infrastructure and my growth as a software engineer come together.
