A birthday study session, and finishing the chapter
Today was a relaxed but special day: it was my birthday! I took the day off work and still managed to spend a couple of hours studying at Launch School.
I didn’t get to study on Monday, August 10, but I made up for it today. To finish the last chapter, I answered the end-of-chapter questions without looking at my notes. I referred back to the relevant sections only when I got stuck.
After finishing the questions, I completed an active recall session using the questions I had created while reading. I was able to answer most of them entirely from memory, with only a couple of exceptions.
Once I finished, I gave my answers to LSBot for review. The feedback was fairly positive. LSBot found that I had a strong understanding of the material, though some of my answers lacked precision. I made the necessary corrections and added the revised answers to Mochi as flashcards.
Moving forward, I plan to practice my flashcards every day.
Next stop: the Variables chapter.
