Why I'm keeping this study log in public
A short note to start, since this is the first entry.
I’ve kept study notes privately for years. This time I’m putting the day-to-day in the open — not as a highlight reel, but as an honest record of the work. The plan is simple: after a study session, I write a few lines here about what I was working on, what finally made sense, and where I’m still stuck.
Two reasons it’s public. First, writing for someone else forces a clarity that writing for myself doesn’t. If I can’t explain what clicked, I probably haven’t understood it yet — and that gap is exactly what mastery-based learning is meant to close. Second, I’ve been helped by other people who learned in the open, and this is a small way to pay that forward.
Don’t expect polish. Some entries will be a breakthrough; some will be “low-focus day, did the work anyway.” Both belong here. The record matters more than the streak.
